Problem: A call came in at night, in the rain: water was ponding against a parapet wall because the scupper drains were clogged.
What we did: The technician cleared the scuppers and collector boxes with a drain-cleaning machine while it was still raining.
Result: Water ran off the roof again and the area around the drains was left dry.

Problem: The walk-in freezer controller was reading 22.8°.
What we did: We replaced the electronic controller, programmed it and checked the system with gauges.
Result: The freezer pulled back down to −7.0°.

Problem: A self-contained display freezer on a grocery sales floor read 67° on its case display.
What we did: We serviced the condensing unit controls and installed a new 40-amp contactor.
Result: The case came back down to −3°.

Problem: A rooftop packaged unit was down with a fault on its controller.
What we did: The technician traced the fault through the controls and the condenser fan, made the repair and tested the circuits with a meter.
Result: The controller cleared to "No active faults" and the unit went back into service.

Problem: The stall lines and bus stencils had faded almost to nothing.
What we did: We restriped the stalls, repainted the bus stencils and painted a new accessible-aisle hatch.
Result: Crisp lines and markings the whole lot can read again.

Problem: A heaved sidewalk slab left a raised edge that people could trip on.
What we did: We saw-cut and removed the section and poured a new, level slab.
Result: A flush walkway, taped off until the concrete cured.

Problem: The coating on a building entry was peeling away, with a rusted metal edge strip along it.
What we did: We broke out the old surface, cleared the debris and poured new concrete with a broom finish.
Result: A solid, even entry tooled tight to the building.

Problem: Strip fixtures were out along the high ceiling of a retail store.
What we did: We worked from a ladder to repair the dark fixtures.
Result: Every row of fixtures lit again.

Problem: An exterior wall light had failed: the lamp had burned out and its arc tube had shattered inside the bulb.
What we did: We replaced the lamp and sealed the fixture back up.
Result: The fixture went back into service with a new lamp.

Problem: The hasp on an outdoor ice merchandiser was bent and loose, so the doors could not be secured.
What we did: We installed a new heavy-duty hasp and disc padlocks.
Result: The merchandiser locks securely again.

Problem: Carpet in an office alcove and hallway had large water and soil stains.
What we did: We cleaned it with a carpet extractor.
Result: The stains came out and the carpet looks even again.

Problem: Paint was peeling and the drywall paper was torn where wall graphics had been pulled off.
What we did: We patched and primed the damaged areas, then repainted the wall to match.
Result: One even, finished wall.
